中文摘要:研究首次提出伊朗南部布什尔省达斯特斯丹区域氟化物的可能来源。针对氟斑牙发病率高的报告,采集和分析了35处地表水和地下水水样中的氟化物。结果表明研究区域溶解的氟化物超过世界卫生组织(WHO)所推荐的最大容许极限值。另外采集和分析35个土壤和岩石样品中的氟化物,同时岩石样品接受岩相测试和X射线衍射。这些分析结果表明地下水中氟化物最有可能的来源是区域土壤和岩石中的粘土矿物(绿泥石)和云母(白云母,绢云母和黑云母)。我们还注意到由于全年平均气温高和区域过量耗水,氟化物的最佳摄入剂量应低于世界卫生组织推荐的值。

Geological sources of fluoride and acceptable intakeof fluoride in an endemic fluorosis area, southern Iran

Abstract:The present study is the first attempt toput forward possible source(s) of fluoride in theDashtestan area, Bushehr Province, southern Iran. Inresponse to reports on the high incidence of dentalfluorosis, 35 surface and groundwater samples werecollected and analysed for fluoride. The resultsindicate that dissolved fluoride in the study area isabove the maximum permissible limit recommendedby the World Health Organization (WHO). An additional35 soil and rock samples were also collected andanalysed for fluoride, and rock samples were subjectedto petrographic investigations and X-ray diffraction.The results of these analyses show that the most likelysource for fluoride in the groundwater is from clayminerals (chlorite) and micas (muscovite, sericite, andbiotite) in the soils and rocks in the area.We also notethat due to the high average temperatures all yearround and excessive water consumption in the area,the optimum fluoride dose level should be lower thanthat recommended by the WHO.
